See also Parliamentary Committee minutes, MD.NC/145/1-2. This became the Parliamentary and General Purposes Special Committee in 1949. In 1967 it became the General Purposes Committee and absorbed the functions of the Libraries Committee and the Laing Art Gallery Committee. Discontinued 1974 when its functions were split between the Arts and Libraries Committee and the Policy and Resources Committee. |
