<P>Started as the Plans sub-committee of Town Improvement and Streets Committee but changed first to Bye-Law Plans sub-committee in 1947 and then to Building Regulations sub-committee of Traffic, Highways and Transport Committee in 1967. Later that year it changed its title to General Purposes Working Group. Its final name change came in 1972. In 1974 it became a sub-committee of the new Development, Planning and Highways Committee. Discontinued 1984.</P>
