| AdminHistory | This was a holding company established in 1967 for the transfer of Walker Naval Yard from Vickers to Swan Hunter and Tyne Shipbuilders (later Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Ltd.). The name was retained as a subsidiary of British Shipbuilders. The company was dormant by 1982, and was adapted in 1984 by British Shipbuilders as vehicle for its umbrella engine building company, Clark Kincaid Ltd.
Similar companies existed for all components of Swan Hunter Shipbuilders Ltd., but no other records are known to survive. |
