In 1968 Clarke Chapman merged with International Combustion (Holdings) Ltd, John Thompson Limited and Horseley Bridge Limited, acquiring a number of companies in associated engineering fields. Sir William Arrol & Company Limited of Glasgow became a part of the newly formed Crane and Bridge Division. |
