<P>Began in 1836 as Corporation Property Committee, renamed Property Committee in 1844. For a short time 1884-6 it became a sub-committee of Finance but returned to full Committee status in 1886, as Estate and Property Committee. Discontinued 1967 when functions were transferred to the Civic Services Committee.</P>
